Stav Erez

Stav is a social entrepreneur that somehow found herself in the business world. Her biggest asset is thinking outside of the box and her biggest passion is solving problems.
In March 2012, Stav Erez co-founded SifTech. In June 2013, after 2 successful cohorts of SifTech accelerator and the establishment of the Jerusalem startup community, Stav moved to the Jerusalem Development Authority (JDA) in order to build and manage Jnext, a joint project of the JDA, the Ministry of Jerusalem and the Municipality of Jerusalem.

Jnext’s mission is to build an ecosystem for entrepreneurs in Jerusalem and foster the development of technology innovation. This by engaging all the active organizations in the entrepreneurial space in one, city-wide coordinated program.

In 2015 Stav was featured in Forbes 30 under 30. In April 2016 Stav Joined OurCrowd as Director of business development.

Guy Cherni

Guy is a born and raised Jerusalemite who believes in the power of entrepreneurship with an impactful “Why” to inspire people and promote social mobility. His experience with the startup industry extends across multiple continents, having worked in China, Africa, the U.S, and Israel, both as an entrepreneur and as a Siftech startup accelerator managing director.
Previous to his startup career, Guy worked in Gondar, Ethiopia with a local NGO, where he established an alternative energy program that teaches the community the know-hows of bio-fuel briquette manufacturing.

Guy holds a Masters in “Glocal"; Community Development Studies and a B.A in the Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) interdisciplinary program, both from his home-town university - The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Ayelet Batist

Ayelet loves combining her backgrounds in programming, cognitive sciences and visual design for nailing and polishing UX & UI designs for startups.
Joining Lightricks' founders in 2013, Ayelet worked on creating the branding, UX and UI design of the company's first photo editing app, Facetune.

Today, after Facetune's sensational popularity on the Appstore and Play store, Ayelet is leading the creative team at Lightricks. Her team is responsible for the all aspects of the look & feel of the new app, Enlight, and for the branding UX & UI design of new apps on the way.

Ayelet is a mentor at various design and entrepreneurship forums, and loves taking part in projects that mix design with science and technology.

Her expertise lies in helping companies ensure their products are designed to best meet users’ needs, through storytelling, journey mapping and simplifying task completion.

She believes that deeply understanding the problem is the key to finding the best solution. ​

Drawing on her experience in marketing and business development for leading Israeli software companies,

such as Kasamba, mySupermarket and Anyclip, Marcelle offers a holistic approach to product management, ensuring that improvements directly support business objectives.

She has characterised and designed ​products for a wide array of companies such as DBS-H, 40Nuggets, Bat Shlomo Vineyards and Sensilize.

Marcelle started ProdUX Studio in 2014 after 8 years in the industry and is currently supporting a wide array of young companies to develop winning products.

Marcelle completed her BA at York University in Toronto with a major in Economics after which she worked as an investment adviser at one of Canada’s largest banks. She moved back to Israel at age 25, and now lives in Jerusalem with her husband and son. When she’s not running after her toddler she loves curling up with a history or mythology book.

My name is Guy Cohen and I'm a UX designer based in Rehovot.
I'm in love with all related to app design and crafting sublime, detailed user experiences.

In the past, I founded one of the biggest social networks in Israel named 'Mekusharim'

Today I'm working with several companies, most of them are startups in their early stage, but I also work with mature startups like playsight.com and big enterprises like TEVA.

I care a lot about storytelling and research, my passion is to solve problems which are constantly arising in the creation of a simple and usable interfaces.

Yonatan Machado

Yaron Inger

Yaron Inger is a co-founder and the CTO of Lightricks, the company behind the successful image editing apps Enlight and Facetune.
Prior to Lightricks, Yaron worked at Google and was a senior consultant in the field of computer and network security. He received his M.Sc. in computer science (summa cum laude), specializing in real-time 3D rendering algorithms, and B.Sc. (magna cum laude) in computer engineering from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Dr. Harold Wiener

Harold has over 20 years of industrial and operational experience, in the
biotechnology and natural products fields, both is Israel and abroad.
Harold was the Research & New Business Development Manager from Aromor for 17 years and the New Business Development Manager for Alga technologies for 5 years.

At both of these companies Harold led the product development process from the early development stage to the marketing stage and played a crucial role in the new business development of both companies.

Harold has also served as CEO of several small biotech and biomedical companies, and he is currently CTO of the Misgav Technology Center Incubator.

Harold holds a Ph.D in Applied Chemistry from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and has co-authored more than 20 scientific papers and patents in
prestigious international Journals.

Gil Ben-Artzy

Gil is a Partner at UpWest Labs, a US-based seed fund that supercharges the growth of Israeli startups in Silicon Valley.
Prior to UpWest Labs, Gil was part of Yahoo!’s Corporate Development group, working on strategy & acquisitions, as well as managing the relationships with the Israeli ecosystem of investors, entrepreneurs and startups. In this role, he led the acquisition of Yahoo!’s first Israel-based startup (FoxyTunes) and helped open the company’s first R&D center in Haifa. Gil was also VP of Operations Management at Yahoo!, driving the business aspects for the Tech Infrastructure organization.
Gil was previously a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group in New York, where he advised Fortune 500 companies. Gil holds a BA in Economics & Business Administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an MBA with Honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Outside of work, Gil enjoys going to live music performances (Coachella Music Festival is his annual highlight). He is also an avid sports fan, and though soccer is at the top of his list, he will pretty much watch anything that has a ball and/or timer involved.

Ben Wiener is the Managing Partner of Jumpspeed Ventures, a micro-fund based in Jerusalem, Israel that he founded in late 2013.
Ben began his career in law, first as a clerk on Israel’s Supreme Court and then as a practicing corporate lawyer at Kramer, Levin in New York and Sharir, Shiv in Tel Aviv. He left law and co-founded his first software start-up in 1999 in Jerusalem. He has co-founded and managed Business Development at a number of startup and investment ventures and also served as VP of International Business Development at IDT Corp. (NYSE: IDT) where he led M&A transactions and was part of IDT's Venture Services group.

Zaki Djemal

Yaniv Corem

Yaniv is an architect and designer who went rogue and joined the MIT Media Lab to complete an MS in Computer Science. He has worked on many cutting-edge projects - from responsive lighting systems to Lego-based city planning tools - that combine design and technology in unique ways. In 2010, Yaniv joined the Social Technologies Group at IBM Research where he led the design and development of Human Computation Games & Gamification to leverage innate human abilities and solve difficult problems within organizations.

Royi Benyossef

Royi has been an Android developer since before the first Android phone existed and proceeded to work on development for Android based tablets and TVs long before they were launched by Google so you might say he's somewhat Android pioneer whose expertise is in non-standard Android platforms and products which involve Android internals as well as application development.
As an avid Open source enthusiast he has been Organizing events as well as blogging, speaking and mentoring on Android related topics since 2010 and it is due to the above that he is a Google developer expert since the program's inception which means that he's not a Google employee but that Google believes that he knows what he's talking about as well as how to say it.

Outside of Android he has been a full stack developer at a projects company where he was developing mobile applications in Android as well as iOS (Objective-c) and also dabbled in server side development in PHP, Jquery and more including a few projects of mobile applications using cross platform push technologies using socket.io, XMPP and other similar protocols as a server-side, he also had other projects which granted him experience in widgets, live wallpapers, network and battery efficiency and many more exciting topics.

In the last 4 years he has been a part of a company which enabled him to grow and prosper by allowing him to manage a group of developers and QA engineers, both on site and remotely, to lead a team technologically and to build a few wonderful products from scratch including architecture, software, firmware and continuous integration design and implementation.

In his years working in the US, Eliav founded a Los Angeles-based consultancy providing digital content marketing services to small businesses and non-profit organizations. Helen Wexler

Helen Wexler is an award winning "archi-tech", working at the intersection of architecture and technology.
Helen holds a degree in Architecture from the Bezalel Academy of Art and design and has recently received an award from NASA for her design of 3D printed Martian housing.

After working as a technology analyst for a Tel Aviv based investment firm, she moved from the private sector to the public one. There she currently manages the Jnext program at the Jerusalem Development Authority, where she writes and implements economic development policies to support startups and technology companies in the city of Jerusalem. She also teaches fourth and fifth year architecture students at Bezalel on the topic of “Technology Paradigms in Architecture”.

Aaron Wilson

Aaron recently did a strange thing and left his job as a UX Designer at Amazon to move to Israel and Live The Dream in Jerusalem.
Aaron grew up in New York and eventually went to Penn where he studied Information Technologies and Organizations as well as Computer Science. After graduating, he went to work as a designer at Amazon's audiobook division, Audible, where he was the full time UX Designer for a new product called Channels which is now live and doing swell.

After moving to Israel, he joined Glide as a Product Manager & UX Designer. He's currently splitting his time between dreaming up a new product vision for Glide, jamming on UX at Siftech, and exploring cleantech.
